This page describes how IQ Score Level works. It is not legal advice.
IQ Score Level is the name of this website and service. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the person who runs it.
By using IQ Score Level, you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us through the contact page.
What is this service?
IQ Score Level is a free online reasoning test and a set of free reference pages about IQ scores. The test gives an estimate with a range. The pages explain what scores mean and how tests work.
There is no charge for any part of the site. We do not sell certificates, reports or subscriptions.
What is this service not?
The test is not a clinical assessment, not a diagnosis, and not an educational or employment assessment. It cannot qualify anyone for Mensa or any other society. Nothing on the site is medical, psychological or legal advice. Our disclaimer explains this in more detail.
If you need a formal result or advice about your situation, please see a licensed professional.
Who can use the test?
Anyone can read the site. The test is meant for adults and teens aged 13 and over. If you say you are under 13, the test still runs, but nothing is stored, as our privacy policy explains.
What counts as fair use of the test?
Fair use means taking the test yourself, as a person, and using the pages to learn. Please do not:
- use scripts, bots or other automated tools to take the test or submit answers;
- copy the test questions, or run software that harvests them in bulk;
- try to break, overload or get around the site’s security;
- tamper with answers or results sent to our server.
We may block requests that break these rules. Results made by tampering are not valid.
Who owns the content?
The text, the question generators, the generated questions and the design of IQ Score Level belong to the person who runs the site. You may quote short parts with a link back. You may share your own result.
Names of tests, such as the Wechsler scales or the Stanford-Binet, belong to their owners. We use them only to describe those tests. Our credits list trademarks and the licenses of the software we use.
How do share links work?
When you share a result, we create a public page with your score, range, percentile and norm version. Anyone with the link can open it. Search engines are asked not to index it. You decide whether to share the link, and you can ask us to remove it.
A share page shows a result from this site only. It is not a certificate and must not be presented as a formal score.
What about links to other sites?
Our pages link to sources, such as research papers, publishers and official organizations. We link to them so you can check our facts. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
We never link to other online IQ test sites. The only exception is Mensa’s own pages, on our Mensa guides, so readers can find the official route.
What about ads?
The site shows no ads at present. If we add advertising later, the ads will be shown by Google on reading pages such as guides and score pages. An ad would not be an endorsement by us. We would not choose individual ads, and we would never show ads inside the test, on results, on share pages or in the games.
Can we change or stop the service?
Yes. We may change, pause or stop any part of the site at any time, for example to fix a problem. We will try to keep shared result links working, but we cannot promise it.
Are there any guarantees?
No. The site is provided as it is, without guarantees of any kind. We work hard to keep facts correct, but we cannot promise that every page is free of errors, or that the site is always available.
Scores are estimates with a range. Different attempts can give different results. Please do not use a score from this site for any important decision.
What are the limits of our responsibility?
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the site or relying on a score. This includes decisions made about school, work or health based on a result. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as your local law permits.
How does privacy fit into these terms?
Our privacy policy is part of these terms. In short, the test needs no account, email or payment. Our database never stores your IP address, although our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes it to deliver the site. We store nothing from the test of anyone who says they are under 13. The full details, including how long data is kept, are in the privacy policy.
What happens if these terms are broken?
If someone breaks these terms, we may block their requests or remove what they submitted. Results made by automation or tampering are not valid, and they are left out of our statistics. We do not need to give notice before blocking abuse that harms the site or other users.
What if part of these terms is not valid?
If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a rule at once, we can still enforce it later.
Can these terms change?
Yes. We may update these terms when the site changes. The current version is always on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the law that applies to the use of this site. Nothing in them takes away a right that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be given up by agreement.How can you contact us?
You can reach us at hello@iqscorelevel.com or through the contact page.
